Dear Cecil,

Your logic of not giving Miggy a day off because "he's on a hot streak" doesn't apply when he's 0 for his last 12.  Why don't you be the fucking manager and rest him.  He may be 49 years old for all we know.

Preferably any sort of pitching.  You know it's bad when you're trolling through baseball reference transaction section thinking about how Mike Burns is the one who got away.

I was out a couple of times today and listened to that on the car's XM radio. My daughters gave me the Blu-Ray DVD set last month, so if this game gets out of control I'll go watch some of that tonight.

By the way, I have the DVD set of the Monterrey Festival, and Grace Slick looks like a high school cheerleader. It's very amusing to watch.

I sucked down a few huge margaritas at dinner (nachos, fajitas, ribs, grilled ribs, fried cheesecake) and that seems to have made the game much more enjoyable.  That, and taking money from others on poker stars.

I can watch 1969 Grace Slick all day long.

I remember back in the day, some rag like Crawdaddy or Creem had an article posing the question; who was better: Janis or Grace? My only reaction was Grace is hot, who cares about singing. I was 13 and saw the whole comparison based on whom would I prefer to ball.

I've got numerous festering scabs all up and down my legs from mosquito bites suffered last weekend while doing some yard work at dusk that have finally reached a nice crisp picking stage. It complements the game and season perfectly.

I am on the best quality here in DC, but I haven't been watching very long.

I just got back from watching "Catch Me While You Can" at the AFI theater in Silver Spring and I'm reading old reviews of it and catching up on the game.

The game's in a rain delay? Now that's just cruel.

No, the move has the head going back and forth like "No" with a downward dip  with a return upward usually accompanied by a wave of the hand and/or a snapping of the fingers. Usually a "I know that's right, guurl" comes in their somewhere.

Let me tell you a little about Milwaukee...

James Casey just made a circus catch and a special teams tackle.

Questions about tomorrow - what time is the game?  How crazy would I be if I set an alarm clock and watch it?
