Einertson suspended

Looks like his demons caught up to him again.  Since it's his second offense, he's out for 50 games.

I wonder if this leads the way to a Gaston call-up...

I was wondering the same thing, though there'd be no faulting them if they called up Shuck, either.  Also, I wonder if Einertson has played his last game as an Astro.  This is his sixth year and I'm guessing he'll still have 20-30 games to serve after the season is over.

I had thought he'd moved past it.  It's been quite a while since his professional debut.

Well, Ray Sadler started tonight for the Hooks in CF.  Seeing as how he doesn't have any minor league stats for the year, I can only assume he was just signed to take Einertson's spot.

To me, this makes no sense. I know it's late in the season, but doesn't it make more sense to promote a deserving outfielder from Lancaster (be it Gaston or Shuck) than to sign a guy with no future in the organization?

I'm betting they're done with him and they know that. Political speak.
