Mark was watching on ESPN. he said the first out was an unbelieveable catch.
It was right after a defensive replacement, too, I think.
Chicago's CF, Wise, made a fucking unbelievable catch on the first out of the inning. I guess it was Kapler?Deep drive to left center, Wise jumped at the wall and pulled back a home run then slammed in to the wall, but held on.
Damn... I missed all of this b/c I got sucked into re-reading the old Towlie thread. At least I got several good laughs.

Perfection requires some luck.
8 innings on the bench, coming in cold as a defensive replacement in the 9th inning of a perfect game. Well hit ball, has to cover a ton of ground to get to it. Up over the wall. Puts a glove on it, crashes into the wall, ball gets jarred out, bare hands it. Perfecto saved. AWESOME!!!
I don't know what was the more amazing: the ground he covered, the leap to and over the wall or the barehanded grab as the snowcone popped out. Buehrle owes that man a steak dinner. Did you see his face when it was hit? "Damn, lost it on a tater". Followed by no expression whatsoever after the catch.
