Is Maysonet hurt?

If he is, I haven't heard about it.  From reading her 'tweets', Footer hasn't either... LINK, LINK

Coop said Matsui was getting a "maintenance day off" Saturday. I don't understand why Maysonet isn't playing more.

Then again, I don't understand a lot of the decisions that are made. Like players often say, "I just work here."
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Has Bourn got some kind of 3-D glasses on out there? Or maybe he swiped Valverde's specs?

Did the Sox wear shorts like they did for a while in the 1970's?

Nope. Civil Rights Game

Quote
When the Reds and White Sox take the field in front of a sold-out park, both teams will be wearing throwback uniforms from 1964, the year that the Civil Rights Act was passed to outlaw racial segregation in schools, public places and employment.

About time you supported a player Cooper, and you got run probably for what someone else said.

Coop gets tossed.

Without leaving the bench (JD thinks it was because others were griping from the bench, not for anything Coop was doing).

Pudge thought he caught a foul tip 3rd strike.  The ump called it a ball.  Pudge was livid and looked to the bench for some support... got none.

I admit it, I've barely watched the Astros this entire season.  Ever since it was made clear that the team would be run by the fans and the editorial page and not by baseball men, I've really found it hard to feel the same level of loyalty.  Gar should have never been canned.   Never.   Should have managed the team til he died.

So, you get a man who isn't an idiot, he's just disinterested.  That's why he's got the job.

Don't know if its 'sound baseball thinking' or not, but this 1st pitch sacrifice bunt after Bourn gets on with no outs in the middle innings as an away team is starting to annoy the crap out of me.

Kata certainly likes to show off the leather at 2B.  Great dive to the right and then throw!

Coop in the postgame:

He considers Bourn the team MVP so far this year.

On the ejection (summary): Thought it was a swing and foul tip.  Yelled at him that I thought he was wrong, and he ejected me before I really said much.

Nothing was said (or asked) why he sat his ass on the bench so long despite the fact Pudge was looking over to him for some help (although the post game commentators were critical of the non-assist...).
