Question for JimR
« on: June 05, 2009, 02:35:01 pm »
Is THIS really the way you played the game back then?
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

pretty much. in the 1850s, i worked with a lanky first baseman who showed a lot of promise. i do not know what happened to him. the team called him Old Abe, but i never caught his last name.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.
