Well Tim McCarver and Jack Buck are calling the broadcast I'm watching. Also, the Astros and Rangers are, oddly enough, wearing the uni's of the Yankees and Phillies. But I know this must be Astros-Rangers because that's why it's blacked out on my mlb.tv, because the game is on Fox. Real odd though.

Karros ain't no prize either. In the first he said Feldman can't be counted on to go further than 6 or 7 innings. Really? The Rangers lead the AL in innings by their starter at 6.1 per start so, no, probably not. They pay him for this insight.

Oh yea, Lewin has already made one refernce to Tejada's "controversial HR". Which was clearly one the umps got right. That will no doubt be the theme of the day if the game is remotely close. Lewin annoys me more than any working PBP guy.

I saw it once, and saw a fan touch the ball. They re-ran the play at least 4 times and it never occurred to either of them that maybe a fan had touched it.

He has a LOT to do with why the pen is decimated, but it's not his fault that there are a lot of injuries and that Moehler can't locate his fastball. That was brutal.

He's definitely misused the pen but I don't see how you can pin Valverde, Brocail or Geary on Coop.

I would probably have a better idea of what's going on with just the crowd noise. It took 5 minutes for me to realize Pence actually caught the ball, Milo was prattling on about the umpire so long.
