Bleh. I hate how I type "post" and walk away for a minute, then come back to find that my post didn't post.

I missed the Kaz's out due to serving children fried rice, and barely saw some Dodger little league antics which assisted Miggy with getting safely to first, and at the moment, Berkman's at 2-and-2.

Dodgers 3rd:

Clemens being interviewed in the seats. Kinda got the Guy Fieri thing going with the visor and spiky hair.

Missed the 1st out while checking on the Rangers game. Clemens still being interviewed while on his laptop. C'mon, y'all, I'm missing the pbp here while y'all are making environmental divot jokes.

Furcal's now at 1-2. Foul, bouncer to Berkman who jogs to 1st for the 2nd out.

Brownie: "I spoke to Lance, who says there was no doubt that he was on the base last night for that out..." etc etc etc.

Hudson- b, b, b, called S, foul popup to Kep for the 3rd out.

Dodgers 0.

MIDDLE 3rd.

Shit, I checked on the Rangers again and totally missed Manny crouching under Roy's pitch. I gotta quit checking on the yankee Texas ballclub.

ManRam with a swinging strikeout. Yee haw!

Ethier- S, b, smack to CF bounces off the visitors' bullpen for a double. Ethier on 2nd, 1 out.

Patty Smith interviewing a dude from Reliant about incandescent bulbs.

Wolf- bunts barely foul, iRod grabs and throws to 2nd, but Jerry Lane calls the ball foul. Runner back to 1st, Wolf at 1-1.

Wolf hits a single into LF. Runners on 2nd and 1st, 1 out, Furcal on his way to hit.

Ain't Hernandez, either. He'd have walked towards the mound and bitched at Roy by now.

Furcal- b, swinging S, called S (nice!), foul, b in the dirt, Roy at 75 pitches, foul, called S. #4 for Roy.

It's one thing to give up the HRs to Manny and Ethier.  It's another to give up a 2-run tater to the 8 hole hitter with 2 out.

I swear sometimes Roy channels Hunter Pence.

I didn't see how the runners made it to 1st and 2nd but Michaels doubled them home, getting gunned out at 3rd.

Michaels 2-run double to plate Berkman and Lee.  Out trying for the triple.

Berkman walked, Lee singled, Hunter K'd, then Michaels crushed one over Kemp's head in center, scoring both Berkman and Lee. Michaels got thrown out trying to leg a triple.

That was a very enjoyable game. Great to take a series from the Dodgers!

8 game winning streak? They must grade on a curve in the West.

What happened in the 9th. Sorry to ruin your fun.

Pierre popped out foul 5u, Furcal (?) grounded out 3u, and the last guy (forget who) struck out swinging. Hawkins looked good.

I think this is the first series against a non-Western division team.

Yes indeed.  Great to see the crowd get behind Hawk when it mattered, and shut up the gat dam Dojer fans who were all over the place like a blue fungus.

Also, George HW Bush wears pink pants.
