Austin TWC Viewing Options 4/10

Anyone know what our viewing options are for tonights's game?  SOL? The "we have aleady clinched a playoff spot so who cares about this damn game" Spurs are on FSN.  Ch 77 looks like a no go either.

I've noticed that Ch77 is gonzo now, so unless they come up with an alternative, looks like hit and miss for FSN (with the Spurs).  I intend to watch the game on Saturday morning any way since I will be out this evening.  I'll already know the score of course and catch the recap here, but I'll get to watch the game on MLB TV on replay (and scrub through the commercials as well).  I hope I get Brownie and JD though.

Try 12 (KNVA) around 6pm or so. Oftentimes the channel guide will say that it's serving up some putrid something-or-other, but the game is often on if it's not on anywhere else.

try 95 on TWC. Seems like when I had TWC in Austin a year or so ago 77 was deprecated in favor of 95 for some reason.

Motherfucking Spurs.

No radio (is there ever?) again tonight because of the Longhorn baseball game. My only option is to go sit in my car outside and listen to the iffy 740 signal.

I hated KVET when I was in Austin. Why even bother to do the contract if you're going to preempt the games for every random Longhorn-related event?

I couldn't find the Sunday game on anywhere either.  Rangers had the coverage on 54.   If it wasn't for WGN showing the lone Astros win and Fox Saturday baseball, Austinites would only have seen 1 of the first 6 games, IIRC.

I have no problem with AM1300 choosing Longhorn sporting events over the Astros.  The problem is them pre-empting the Astros for their afternoon talk shows (they refuse to end their 4pm-7pm show an hour early for east coast games) and for their lame coaches call in shows for AFL2 teams.  Thank goodness they folded.
