Picks?  Favorites?

I guess I hate the Dodgers less, but I'm still pulling for Tampa Bay.  No predictions.

If Tampa is in the NLCS, I'm going to be very confused. Fucking Selig.

He'll do whatever is necessary to have the Red Sox in the World Series.  Even re-alignment.

I'm rooting for Lidge vs. Rays.

Right.  Boston is slightly less annoying now that Manny's being Manny on the West Coast, but they're still annoying.  And Manny's a Dojer.

Phillies vs. Rays. It'll be a tough household for a while but it'll be worth it.

Oh, I hope Manny stays a Dojer.  He's quit on one team, he'll quit on them too.

I still have a deep-seeded hatred for all things Dojer. But I like Joe Torre. However, I think that the fightin' Phils have the best offense in the NL, so I suspect that they'll ultimately prevail.

I like Joe Torre only because the longer the Dodgers stay in the game, the more it is stuck up the arse of YankeeFan.

As an aside, I am pulling for LAAoA vs. the Red Sux, and think of any team in baseball they are best equipped to come all the way back from 0-2.  I am also pulling for Tampa Bay, who I think will dispatch the White/Black Sux this evening.

If TB wins but LA cannot come back, though, and it ends up being Boston and TB in the ALCS, that will be a fucking war.  Part of me wouldn't mind seeing that.

He won't stay long enough to quit on them.  Bora$ is dragging Manny's ass to the Bronx.

The Dodgers looked pretty good in the NLDS, of course.. the other team didn't bother showing up.  So I have a hard time gauging how good they really are.

Peaked in early June then seemed to fizzle out.  Methinks an LCS would be as good a catalyst as any for bad blood to resurface.

Which is why I'm rooting for a Red Sox/Dodgers world series.  Hank's head is definitely going to explode -- and that's always good fun.

Same here, but I think Boston is just too strong.  Phillies will give them a fight though.

I cannot root for the Dodgers - way too many posers for fans.  We went to the game Saturday night and they showed Billy "yankees contract for a day" Crystal on the jumbotron in a Dodgers hat and the crowd went nuts like he was a lifelong dodger fan.  Though I think I was most disgusted with the kid in front of me who thought it would be fun to put on a manny dreds wig and dodger blue bandanna.  I will give props to the open hostility towards Cubs fan.

I think the Rays pitching gives them a legitimate chance of getting by the Red Sox, assuming the Angels don't make a comeback in that series of course.

I think Boston dispatching the Angels was a foregone conclusion, but I'm not completely sold on them until I see David Ortiz pick it up. Right now Bay is having to do all the heavy run-producer work, though they do have a pretty solid lineup 1-9. The middle relief seems a little sketchy too. Red Sox/ Rays will be a fun series to watch.

I'm rooting for Lidge vs. Wheeler.   I will ignore the hack announcers that say, "How did the Astros let these guys go?".

ETA -- should have been more clear.  World Series games going extras with Lidge and Wheeler matching zeros.

I think Lidge would get Wheeler looking on a front-door slider. Too bad Dotel was not called on to PH against Wheeler in the ALDS.
