NYCU: "JD and Dave's Excellent Radio"
« on: September 29, 2008, 12:40:52 pm »
That was a great NYCU wrap for the season, pravata.  The news about Jimmy D and Dave Raymond hosting their own show on KBME might be the best news for the long off-season as it were.  The only thing that could've made it better is that JD and Dave would be replacing the entire morning show crew ("The Men's Room") or even the afternoon show ("Mongoliods of the Midday").

I'm ready for JD to have a full time gig in the offseason and of course to get rid of the bad on-air talent on KBME.

Here's hoping they podcast it.

Record for fewest errors in a season in NL history.  Who'd have thunk that when they traded for an old, no range short stop.
Always ready to go to a game.

That no range stuff turned out to be baloney.  And, if Tejada gets to the ball, he'll make the throw.

Crazy to consider, too, of the anomomly in Kaz's errors.  Went from 4 in '07 to 12 this season, playing in 8 less games

News that is sufficiently bad somehow carries its own guarantee of truth.  Only good reports need confirmation.

He aged quite fast after he signed it seems.

Tejada's D was excellent. But he is not a 3-hole hitter anymore.

And he's probably not a great fit as even a #5 anymore. I wouldn't see a big problem with Wigginton hitting 5th next year, but based on the number of times he was slotted behind Blum and/or Pence this year, I'm guessing Cooper does for some reason.

Hmm, I dunno about Tejada not being a #5 anymore.  I think he'll be better next year.  He's not going to play in winter ball any more.
