Not sure if that makes up for the blunder the other day, but Bourn does a nice job scoring from 2nd on a sac fly to CF.

Damn. Infante drew a leadoff, nearly-hit-in-the-stomach walk. Infante on 1st, 0 outs, Francoeur up.

Francoeur hits to shallow left, Wiggy fields it to 3rd to hold the runner... Infante on 2nd, Francoeur on 1st, 0 outs, B. Jones (I think) up for the Bravos.
And, by the way, f*** off. --Mr. Happy, with a tip of the cap to JimR

Oh, jumping Jesus on a pogo stick... 4-4 game now, top 9th.

Discussion by the umps.... Brandon Jones called safe at 1st when the throw wasn't in time... apparently the 1st base ump, who called Jones safe, was watching the ball and not Jones, so when Jones was behind the ump, he made a fake towards 2nd and 3rd base Ed Hickox (?) ump caught it... so Valverde, after a failed 3-6-1 double play, fell, and the ball trickled away from him... but he grabbed it and tagged Jones when he was off the bag in case he'd gone towards 2nd... good thinkin'.

But, in the end, Infante came across the plate, so it's tied up...

And now Chipper Jones drew a pinch walk.

Josh Anderson broke the bat, hitting past Matsui to Gunter... Anderson on 1st, C. Jones on 3rd, Prado up, Astros (and me) really friggin' nervous...

3rd base Ed Hickox (?) ump caught it...

Country Joe West. FSH has him wired up this game. Good stuff.

TOP 9, Valverde pitching

Infante draws 8-pitch walk
Franqueer singles to LF
B. Jones grounds to Twinkie, who throws runner out a 2B, Tejada throws to Valverde at 1st, Papa Grande can't dig the catch and Infante scores, Valverde tags runner at 1st, umps first call him safe, then Joe West overrules and calls runner out, 2 out.
Bennett walks, replaced by PR Blanco.
Anderson singles to Pence, Blanco to 3rd.
Prado, 3-2 count, K's

Good Guys 4, Braves 4

Thanks. I thought they said Hickox. Between trying to type and that mess of a play, it was hard to keep up.

Yeah, that was great to hear that replay of the audio on West... kudos to him for bein' on the ball.

We were eating out at a place where we had the game on the screen but no audio due to music being played for the college kids in the place, and have managed to make it home for the 8th and beyond.

Mets lost 6-1, yay.

Bourn, with a 17-spit tag-up from 2nd

Figured there had to be a misplay until I saw this.  Unbelievable!
