Jesus Christ. We need to take all of these guys, tie them into chairs, prop their eyes open with toothpicks Clockwork Orange-style, and make them watch baserunning videos all winter.

Just got home and turned on the game.  Who pulled what this time?

Spaz was thrown out at third on a routine grounder to short after he walked and stole second.

A ground ball in front of him. I have no idea what he was thinking , or if he was thinking at all.

The Astros have misunderstood "running out of time" to mean "run yourself out of the game."

The Astros have misunderstood "running out of time" to mean "run yourself out of the game."

They just heard "running" and Romero sent in the steal signal.

I think he still needs to get one guy in the 7th, but even if he didn't I suspect that Drayton would pay him the bonus.

Congratulations to Wolf. I was skeptical when we picked him up, but he has done an outstanding job and really helped to stabilize the rotation.

Wade was told to get a 73 win team into the playoffs while simultaneously rebuilding a barren farm system.

With 6 games left, this team is still in playoff contention.

I think the man has done his job admirably.

Leadoff triple in the 9th for the steM.  Wright struck out on a 3-2 pitch.  Delgado and PRW walked intentionally.  Howry now facing Ryan Church with 1 out and the bases loaded.

Derrek Lee with a nice bloop double to put the Cubs ahead, followed by an Errormiss HR. Others have probably expressed this sentiment already, but barring an historic collapse/miracle run here by the Astros, I'm hoping we can at least see the historic collapse by the Mets, even if it's only the Brewers benefitting.

By the way, nice to be back. I was only able to get on the site today finally.
