Hmm. The BBGs are a stirrin.'
I only brought up the score of a finished game and updated the standings. Not assuming anything here.
And it gets my hopes up every time.
Don't get your hopes up too much, with three teams ahead of them and only a few weeks left in the season, it's an improbable goal.
PLEASE BE ADVISED - BBGs MAY BE STIRRING DURING THIS TIME, POST WITH CAUTION.
Everyone SHUT THE FUCK UP.And fuck the cubs.
The Cubs? I love the Cubs, and I am certain they are America's Team. I think it's high time that they won a World Series title. What with their historic ballpark, energetic and knowledgeable fanbase, and 100 year drought, I think it's in the stars this season. Look out Red Sox, you're going to get swept in this year's World Series!
I didn't realize that Milwaukee travels to Philly Thursday through Sunday. Stakes will be a little high in those games.
Caption this.
Be careful of the Phillies... after this 4 game set with the Brewers, they have FLA, ATL, and WAS the rest of the way.
The BBG's are perfectly capable of seeing through trite facetiousness. Be careful. Plus, they know your every thought so you are not safe there.
Dammit! I can't edit a post on my Blackberry!
You can with an iPhone...
Can you cut and paste from another message?
(FTR, I think the iPhone's lack of something as seemingly simple as cut/copy 'n' paste is completely ridiculous - as is Apple's claim that it's not a priority)
Yeah, I was astonished to learn about that. It's so seemingly obvious that it never occurred to me to question whether it might not be present. I suppose there are some interesting interface challenges if you're lacking control keys and mouse buttons, but I'm surprised that one of their UI wizards hasn't dreamt something up by now.
Are you and Jobs having a lovers' spat?
Today's game - Brewers have taken a 1-0 lead in the 3rd on a walk, error, and grounder by cc.
Cincy is now up 3-1 on the strength of a Jerry Hairston 3-run bomb in the top of the 5th.Start pounding that Skyline chili, Astros fans...
It was interesting, however, that Hairston hit the home run right after Bob Eucker pretty much dismissed the Astros chances of making the playoffs.
And as I post that, Encarnacion makes a diving 5-4-3 DP.
Why can't we all just ...http://www.spikesnstars.com/forums/index.php?topic=106868.msg232639#msg232639
Honestly, I couldn't agree more. If you have access to this website, you have access to an online scoreboard somewhere. STOP POSTING UPDATES. Just link to the final fucking score when it's over, seriously. Have we learned nothing, people?
Right. Don't go dry humping your keyboard while hoping for an Astros playoff appearance.
I'm just thankful to be paying attention.
Their goes my afternoon.
Really?
The definition of sublime is the juxtaposition of skyline chili pounding and keyboard humping.

There are guys who travel to Thailand Lubbockfor this kind of thing.
On that note...I would like to take this opportunity to thank baseball (and all deities therin) for baseball, meaningfull, hopeful, exciting, glorious baseball. Regardless of result, it has once again delivered everything that makes September and October two of the greatest months in all of sports.
You just had to post this while I was eating, right?
Ok, the A's just finished off the Tigers, 5-2, on a boneheaded fucking baserunning play by Granderson, who got easily doubled off first when he inexplicably took off on Magglio Ordonez's fly ball to deep center.
Speaking of bad base running, the misadventure by the uncomfortably named Nyjer Morgan really bailed the Astros out Monday night.
Speaking of which, did anyone notice the obvious discomfort that Footer was experiencing while sitting next to Lucas during last night's post game? I'm guessing that during a commercial break he confirmed to her that he was indeed wearing a Victoria's Secret "black widow" combo underneath his suit.
Fucking Weathers.
I don't often watch the postgame, but I did last night, and I noticed that as well. I'd never seen The Footer on TV before. Is it possible that she is just uncomfortable in front of the camera?
Yep. 4-3 Brew Crew. Brilliant decision to pitch to a .252, 24 HR, 65 RBI guy with first base open and 2 outs instead of a .231, 1 HR, 12 RBI guy that was on deck.
Not usually. She usually looks pretty relaxed/hot on TV.
Torres strikes out the side, Brewers win 4-3.
ETA: Limey, if you even think about commenting, so help me God, I'm driving to Houston to throw your entire arsenal of Apple equipment into the fucking ship channel.
I'm off to mow the yard.
