and apparently has an 18 2/3 inning scoreless streak going. Interesting that the Rays' A-ball team is still called the Devil Rays.

I hope that the little guy makes it back. I liked him a lot. Really bad luck for him in Houston. It just goes to show you baseball rule no. 1: Never, ever give up on a lefty. They put righties out to pasture in a hurry, but not them lefties.

David Neville just debunked the tired stance of "track sprinters never dive across the finish line" when arguing  against diving into first base.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
