Veteran Bigfoot tracker Tom Biscardi said he's examined the body, and that scientists will get their chance soon.

Press conference on Friday, presumably to give Geraldo enough time to get there.

The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

This could be why Chupacabra has never reproduced.

Saw that in the local paper this morning.  Seeing as how Cuero is only about 40 miles from me, I guess I better hide all my goats until they get this thing figured out.

Ranger: "Holy macaroni! I can't believe I'm seeing bigfoot. He's in focus! Oh, I've waited my entire life for this moment!" *takes out gun*
Bender: "What are you doing with that?"
Lrrr: "You're going to kill this innocent giganto?"
Ranger: "Of course not! I'm just gonna tranquilize him so I can chop off his feet as proof he exists. Then dump him back in the wild. He'll do fine!"

It's my estimation that every man ever got a statue made of 'em was one kinda sombitch or another.

BTW, I believe the Times has the best write up from a "legitimate" media source on this I've seen so far.

A brave attempt at objectivity balanced with barely concealed derision.  All the news that's fit to print.

So forty or so years ago Big Foot decides it's getting too crowded in California and decides to migrate east.  He spends a summer of two in Boggy Creek, Arkansas, but opts for the more consistent heat and humidity of Georgia?

What is this species?  The salmon of mammals?

I missed most of it.  I caught the tail-end where they were explaining how they'd gone through a couple freezers already (broken apparently).  And when they got their new freezer, they put the body in and then filled the freezer with water.  When the very skeptical media asked why the fuck you'd doing something like that, they said, "well that's how you make ice cubes."  Real believable.  And the photos they have is of it walking around, so apparently they didn't find it dead.  Right.

This is totally believable, in the same way that it's believable that Space Aliens choose to show themselves and/or abduct anyone with more teeth than brain cells - which, either way, is a single digit number.

They said there were several more bigfoots in the woods, but they didn't 'want to be seen'

They will mount a search party soon to go find them.

Said the thing was prolly dead for 2 days when they found it.

Here's another link.

Quote
SearchingforBigfoot.com owner Tom Biscardi had paid an "undisclosed sum" — Internet rumors put it at $50,000 — to Georgia residents Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer for their frozen "corpse" and the privilege of trotting them, but not the body, out in front of TV cameras.
Quote
"I extracted some [hair] from the alleged corpse and examined it and had some concerns," Kulls writes. "We burned said sample and said hair sample melted into a ball uncharacteristic of hair."

Kulls called Biscardi in California, who told him to heat the body to speed up thawing.

"Within one hour we were able to see the partially exposed head," Kulls continues. "I was able to feel that it seemed mostly firm, but unusually hollow in one small section. This was yet another ominous sign."

Then came the clincher.

"Within the next hour of thaw, a break appeared up near the feet area. ... I observed the foot which looked unnatural, reached in and confirmed it was a rubber foot."
Quote
They admitted it was a hoax and agreed to sign a promissory note at a meeting set for 8 a.m. Pacific time at the hotel.

But when Biscardi got there, he "found that they had left."
