Matsui taking 3rd on Berkman's liner off the wall was the play of the inning for the Astros.  Otherwise Lee's roller is an inning ending dp, not an RBI.

Just tuned in.  What happened to Sampson in the 1st (besides getting shelled that is)?

Sampson was throwing BP. It is a wonder no infielder got killed.

It might be more difficult to hit off a tee than it has been to hit off Sampson and Moehler tonight.

I like the patience Matsui has shown tonight. Not only helps him get on base, but stretches out the pitcher and lets the middle of the order watch what's being thrown.

Most commercials during the games I can understand. I wonder what market research determined that McDonald's premium iced coffee would have appeal to the baseball-watching set.

Thought Moehler looked pretty good before he lost it after the infield single & bloop to cf.

I agree on Matsui.  Bourn's shown some good patience too, looking forward to watching them in front of the mashers.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

Chik Fil A must've dropped about 5000000 dollars on the Astros... They talk about it more than the team during the TV broadcasts.

Bourn is going to e good. I love his approach at the plate. We need some pitching.

Tulowitzki. There is never a sophmore slump for any Astros Killah. Once an assassin always an assassin, or so it seems.

Same thing with the 'cheese' public service ad...

To the strosrays preview... I have TiVo, so I generally don't watch any live TV except for the Astros. That means that the only commercials I generally see are on the Astros broadcasts (fast forward through all the shit I watch on TiVo). Needless to say, I get tired of them very quickly. The 'cheese' commercial is just awful.
