for me, the TZ. Happy New Year.

I think I saw Syne pitch in Pawtucket about a 8-9 years ago, nice little breaking ball, didn't know he was still around.

Same to you Coach, and the rest of the players on the team.  I'll have a plate full of blackeyes for ever last one of ya.  May the new year throw one right in your wheel house.

And somwhere out in California, Jim Edmonds fixes his hair in the mirror one last time, and checks on the wine coolers iced down in the champagne bucket. . . 2008 will be here soon.  But there is still enough time to check the Sports Center reruns real quick.  Maybe they'll be showing web gems from the 2007 season, where no doubt several of Edmonds' breathtaking catches will be featured, the dark green outfield wall at Busch III accentuating the blonde highlights and tips within his flowing locks. . .

He's dreaming of a place, far away in a cold land, where the joys and simple pleasures of life abound.  "Is it Iowa?" he ponders.  Nah, it's a Minnesota airport men's room.
