Picked up this thought while scrolling through Justice's blog, reader asks, have the Astros scheduled a press conference to announce the acquisitions of Tejada and Valverde?  Those are significant acquisitions.  You'd think Mclane would want to be photographed standing next to two high profile, and at least one high dollar, players.  It would make him look like he's doing what he can to be a Champion today.

Worse case scenario is Tejada and Valverde get their appearance arranged with the FanFest in February or in the Astros caravan that happens in late January, early February.

Maybe the decision not to have press conferences is just for economic reasons.  With all the new players, McLane would go broke having a new press conference everyday.  Heck, snacks alone would cost him a pretty penny.
