And collected his third MVP to boot. The only surprise is that it wasn't unanimous, as Magglio Ordonez received 2 first place votes from Tom Gage of The Detroit News and Jim Hawkins of The Oakland Press in Pontiac, MI.

The moral of this story is: Michigan does not have access to baseball games or statistics.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
