You do realize this is a Chris Crocker parody, right?
Yep. And I also realize that Crocker was renamed Joshua Dicks on this board.
Sorry, I received this from a "friend" who didn't get the joke and was trying to prove to me that some Ags were still supporting Fran.
Does your "friend" happen to be an aggie himself? Im just saying!
Sadly, no. Just a t-shirt Sip.
"Pauses to eat a Little Debbie" was inspired.
After the way he left Alabama, justice would be Aggie fans telling Fran they loved him and supported him right up to the day they fired him.
I'm sure beating tu (tee-hee! get it? tu!) would redeem him to the status of "better recruiter than Mack, better gameday coach than Stoops".Unfortunately, Greg Davis and his "3 yard hitch and a cloud of... nothing" offense may make this possible.

No, it will not. Not even close. There are plenty of Aggie faithful that wanted Fran's ass gone even after the Ags beat UT-A last season.
Short of winning out, I don't think anything is going to redeem him amongst the general fan base. He's going to have to win 8 this season to keep the big donors from really pursuing a new coach. After Miami, that's probably closer to 9.
When did the Aggies play UT-Arlington?
Probably in the exhibition season. And we won in overtime.
After watching this team play in three of their first four games, I would say that there is little to no realistic chance of that type of outcome to this season.
A win of the moral variety?
No doubt, which is why I believe those who have told me (and should be in the know) that contact is being made, and Byrne has a short list of candidates that he's operating from.
Not at all. Any win in the NCAA is a quality win. Plus, did you know that half of the teams lose every week?
I'm guessing the only reason he wasn't fired on the spot was that the practice is apparently fairly widespread among other big program coaches.
Wouldn't the info disclosed be a fairly cut and dry violation of HIIPA, as well as inviting all kinds of betting shenanigans?

Especially with Jim O'Brien just having won millions from Ohio State fro "wrongful termination".
maybe the newsletter thing will give them an out to terminating for violation of university policy.
Sure seems like it. Seems like the NCAA would be all over that.
IIRC, fran's contract rolls over each year, so he's always got 5 years left. So, they have to pay him 10 mil to go away.maybe the newsletter thing will give them an out to terminating for violation of university policy.
You can be sure the NCAA is now or will soon be investigating. Giving boosters select and relevant information not distributed to the general public could and most likely will net the team sanctions.
