Woody bats 3 innings 4 earned runs and six hits keeps you in Duncan's 3 run homer in the first scoring recap
Woody blooper caught one away
Biggio grounds out he has the Astros only hit a single in the first
Hunter Pence walked in the first, swings strike one, swings grounds outs
4-0 Cards after 3

Hmm I'll have to listen more closely.  I have noticed that they sound like they're in the bottom of a giant tin can.

Woody was talking some shit at Anaheim Jimmy when he left the game. Edmonds had a look on his face like, "That fucker's crazy, I can't believe he said that."

I wonder if Drayton still thinks that hitting is the number one problem with this club.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

He has abandoned his front and center slot.  Likely canvassing the crowd for advice on forming limited liability corporations in Poland.

Now there's a quote (from Brown): "That's the great thing about fantasy teams: they don't involve people."

Someone should buy Mike Lamb a new book. He's read "Hannibal" a dozen times already this summer.

The History of the Peloponnesian War By Thucydides, that's another Hannibal.

Or asking the fans if they'd like to bring in Driskill or Borkowski to pitch.

The hubby called while I was working and said MMPUS was just emp-tee. Announced crowd, according to Astros.com, was 37,915, but he made it sound like less than that. Did say that there were only 10 or so people sitting around Drayton and his wife.

What happened with Woody? He got tossed because of an argument? Don't see anything on the Comical or Astros websites about it...
And, by the way, f*** off. --Mr. Happy, with a tip of the cap to JimR

Woody got a bad call and walked Jim Edmonds to load the bases. He bitched at the home plate umpire, and then Cooper came out and decided to go to the pen. Then when Woody was walking off the field, he paused long enough to give Edmonds detailed instructions on how to go fuck himself. Or something like that. Edmonds rolled his eyes.

Edmonds then tapped his right foot and ran his left hand several times underneath the partition dividing the stalls.
