Just got home from the park a few minutes ago.  While sitting there in the darkness at 12:15 on a Saturday morning with a couple thousand new friends waiting for the fireworks to start after watching 15 innings of two second-division teams slugging it out (and by "slugging it out" I mean "waiting for the other guy to run out of players first"), I had a bit of an epiphany.  There must be more to life than this; there just has to be.  Thus, I have decided to become a monk.  Or else a sherpa, I'm not sure which yet.  I've never been mountain climbing and I understand that monks get to drink beer (at least some monks, but I'll be sure to seek out a group where this wouldn't be a problem), so I'm leaning monk right now.  But that could change.

Seriously, that was a very interesting game even though the end result sucked.  I'm going to bed.
