Ransom is at SS tonight. Maybe a hint of things to come?

Interesting. Who's at 3B? Saccamano?
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

According to Gameday it's Garcia.

Garcia

Saccamano can barely get the ball to first from third.

In place of whom? It's hard to see where he would fit, before Sept. 1. Unless Bruntlett's on the outs again. Thanks for the info though.

Isn't that one of the teams with a Minor League CFer we all were looking at, at the deadline?

Yes, but Bruntlett isn't close to fetching him.

I would think that Eric Bruntlett would be wanted by a lot of teams. Particularly, a contending team looking for a guy who can play everywhere well. Not as a starting position player but as a super-sub type. I think that is his niche. Reminds me a bit of Jose Oquendo on those late 80s Co-ards teams I used to be forced to watch whilst living in San Luis then.

Then again, I guess there are quite a few of those types, though some seem clearly better at adapting to playing different positions as needed.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

he was wanted by none of them when any of them could have had him by a waiver claim.

Late response on this, but Ransom has now started three straight at SS; Klassen was at 3B for the first game and Garcia the last two.

Just noticed that Osvaldo Fernando was called up to Round Rock on Sunday ... sure seems like a lot of coincidences here.

Yes, but I didn't know if there was a reason why he hasn't been playing shortstop at RR the last few seasons. Or has he?

b/c they put him at 3B this year. i heard there was a 3B problem in Houston earlier.

he is a very, very good fielder. always has been.

Houston tells them where to play people.

From Salem no less. Here is his path this year: Start a CC, get demoted to Salem, then get promoted to RR.  I predict he will hit .250 at RR since he has done that at his other two stops this year.
