- D. Uggla flied out to right center
- H. Ramirez stole second, H. Ramirez to third on B. Ausmus' throwing error
- C. Ross hit sacrifice fly to left center, H. Ramirez scored

- M. Jacobs flied out to left

You know, the funny thing is that when people come in here bitching about how Ausmus can't hit you guys are the first to tell them to fuck off, and reasonably so. But when someone pines for Ausmus' defense, you want to mock that, too.

Maybe Ausmus could have blocked the pitch that sent Cabrera to second; I don't know. Maybe Ausmus could have visited the mound during that fateful stretch and calmed Randolph down; I don't know.

It's hard not to come away with the impression that your smugness is every bit as poisonous as the whining that we've seen and will surely continue to see as the season dissolves.
