I'd kill for a video of Butch Henry's inside-the-parker. I remember it happening, but nothing beyond that.

Bobbled ball leads to an infield hit by Burke.

Third out, throw to first, bottom half of the inning.

I didn't see it. Were the fielders' shoelaces tied together? Did Lee use a golf cart?

Hard shot to LF, played off the wall and had a chance at Lee at second. The throw was wide of second, fielded by the first baseman, then the first baseman's throw went wide of third all the way to the stands. Lee "trotted" home.

If Garner wasn't such a crappy manager, he would have pulled JJ right before the homerun.

Or at least have Alyssa Milano waiting for JJ in the dugout to make him feel better. Maxim-um managing.

Bad, bad Karma. Intentionally putting the winning run on base. Bases empty, two outs, an IBB and a couple of wild pitches later, the lefty Jacobs still standing at home while the winning run scored.

I've never like the IBB, and especially with THE FUCKING BASES EMPTY.

Obviously it doesn't matter that it hit the donut before bouncing out of play. But at any other level, hitting the offensive team's equipment would've made that ball dead immediately.

I don't really fault Munson for that.  I just think Ausmus is so good behind the plate that we would've stood a much better chance to still be in this game with him back there.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Webster was totally quiet when that game ended. First we weren't sure that it had ended, and then, when we saw "final" on the tv screen... we were just dumbfounded, basically. That just suuucked.

We couldn't hear shit though, nor did we see umps discussing the madness onscreen... was there some discussion about that wild ball? Like, debating as to whether the game had really ended?

It didn't look that way, and JD and Brownie didn't mention anything. One of the replays showed an ump right next to Munson by the dugout, signalling emphatically for Cabrera to come home. That seemed to be the end of it; that's when the Marlins rushed the field.

They'd have lost the game even if they'd had Plasticman or Mr. Fantastic back there in that inning.
