Replay of 4A boys basketball championship is on in Austin instead of live Major League Baseball.

Nice.

Nice start for Jennings...   Luke playing Hasboro's line drive like a hand grenade didnt help though...
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

The game isnt on FoxSports here in Houston, it is on KNWS.   Is that why it isnt on where y'all live?

Rangers are on 77.

Doesn't look like this one's going to be much fun to watch, anyhow.  Yuck.

Jennings ERA just went from 4.75 to SIX!!!   And he is still responsible for MB at first.

The Padres offense isn't very good. To surrender eleven runs in the first inning to that team makes me question Jennings' health.

It would be about par for the course for today if the Astros go ahead and get no hit.

I lost with pocket aces all in pre-flop while JJ was giving up 11 runs in the top of the 1st. Itunes just so happened to be playing U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" during all of this, and I couldn't help but to think that I have never actually looked forward to a Monday before.

This would be an amazing way to begin an impossible season comeback.

I'm with ya', except that I think it started in the comeback against the Nat's, the one that just fell short.  It's been good ball pretty much ever since, minus Wandi's Pittsburgh collapse.

Tying run at the plate!!!  2 OUts....  Burke K's.

I've been out of town for a little while and admittedly have not been paying close attention to anything but the boxscores but why is Lidge wearing that big ass knee brace?  When did this start?

I guess I picked the wrong weekend to trade a reliever.

He needs to be gone.

yes, he does, but I doubt he will.

i am rather surprised munson still catching.  seems like ausmus has been coming in to catch lidge.  then again, munson has had a good day at the plate.

I've been out of town for a little while and admittedly have not been paying close attention to anything but the boxscores but why is Lidge wearing that big ass knee brace?  When did this start?

During his rehab of the pulled intercoastal muscle.  He realized he had some knee problem that will require scoping this offseason.  To stablize the knee for the rest of the season, he's wearing a brace.  He said he can feel it bark but not enough to preclude him from pitching.

During his rehab of the pulled intercoastal muscle.

He pulled a muscle that goes all the way up the east coast?
