Lance is there obviously due to the lefty Lilly, which also explains no Luke or Lamb.   No Biggio today either.

Burke with a nice leadoff triple.  His average is up to .240 now.

1-0 Stros.  Lee on 1st with 2 outs in the 1st.

I wonder if it might also have something to do with Lance's whiny-sounding post-game comments yesterday... how tough it is to score facing Zambrano, how tough it is with the wind blowing in at Wrigley, etc. He basically said he wasn't too bummed that they didn't hit well. Perhaps Phil wants a #3 hitter who expects to do well....completely unfounded speculation on my part, of course.

There's been 5 hits in the game.  4 of them have come around to score, and the 5th is in 1st base right now.

Aah, the Oswalt Inning.

Cubs 3, Astros 1 -- Bottom 4th.

Roy seems to be channeling 2006 Wandy here.  Definitely letting some of the missed calls get to him.

an ace does not do that. he is not himself this year. or maybe this is what he's going to be.

Couldn't agree more.  It's like he and Berkman drank the same kryptonite water this season.

It couldn't be more obvious that these announcers know very little about the 2007 Astros.

Like the difference between Pence and Burke, for example.

I liked when they said that teams were trying to acquire ensberg.  Like the astros would hold back on making that trade.

Who is behind the plate today? I can't figure out what is a strike and what isn't.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy
