You're forgetting...Brad was "All-Star Catcher" Ausmus in Detroit.  He had to get at least a couple of hits...maybe one was with that bat.

I went to visit my dad in San Antonio, TX.  Therefore, I was not in attendance at the game where the Ausmus Surfer Bobblehead was given.  I chose to visit my dad during Father's Day weekend rather than attempt to get a bobblehead.
