How do I know?  Because Frank Thomas hit his 500th in Minneapolis this afternoon.

They were similar hitters.

But what made Bagwell so much better was his fielding and being perhaps one of the all-time great baserunners.

The similarities do not end with hitting, and the hitting wasn't all that similar.
