This is a case of Law, the proverbial blind squirrel, finding his occasional nut.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

I would say that is fairly accurate.  I think it was one of the worst drafts by Houston since I have been following them (granted not all that long).

One giant nut.  Though he failed to mention that McLemore (4th round) did make a big league appearance, he may have written this prior to Mark's one inning.

Agree with Froback, just beat out '99 as worst in recent years.
Goin' for a bus ride.

Astros: This draft appears to be the only one that has yet to produce a big leaguer. Second-rounder Talbot, traded to Tampa Bay for Aubrey Huff, should get there soon and should be good, but that's it. Grigsby's career stalled because he had emotional issues, but he was a huge gamble in the Tony Pluta/Robert Stiehl mold … and if you haven't heard of those two top Houston draft picks, that's all you need to know.

Ouch...
