Yankmes called him up, proving once again that you can stay in this game as a LHP forever.

I liked Ron Villone.  Last season, I would have liked him in Houston's bullpen.

Given the dirth of LH relievers, I wouldn't have minded Villone in our pen then or now.

Randolph should be in Houston.

Randolph should be in Houston.

Any chance they're keeping him in Round Rock to get regular work and stay sharp so that a) he can be included as part of a trade, or b) he can take the place of somebody else involved in a trade?

He's going to be featured in that big Randolph for Rodriguez trade.  Now if Purpura could just figure out which Rodriguez that was supposed to be.

Randolph should be in Houston.

As we know, the Astros play the if-it-ain't-broke-don't-fix-it card regarding mid-season callups. The BP has been very good of late, so I assume that's the only reason he's not here. There's simply no corresponding roster move that would justify to bring him up right now.
phew. for a minute there, I lost myself

Absolutely.

He googled "das" and picked the most flattering image.  You should see how I look when I've had a bad day.  I'm honored by his homage.

I think I read somewhere that the Yanks had to call up Villone by this Friday or risk having him declare FAgency...which he negotiated as part of his contract.
