I think they just said the 2nd was over, with the Yanks up 3-0.

But I will try to start PBP now.

Woody still pitching.

I am still on the phone, so I will try to keep up, but doing two things at once... well that is not a strong suit, when one is talking on the phone.

Cabrerra: pop down left side, Caught I think by AE.

Cano: Pop up to Mo

Rodriguez: high fly ball to CF, Burke makes play.

quick 1-2-3.  Not as quick I reported, but close  (may have missed 2 or 3 pitches.

Williams still in

Cairo: ball-foul(on the right side)-liner to LF, drops in for a single

Looks like Lane is now playing LF.

Wang: Bunt, Enbserg fires to 2nd, for 1, and to 1st... DP!!!!
Enbserg was so close to HP that he almost could shake hands with Wang

Damon: sc-missed some pitches-broken bat hit over Biggio.  Kevin Reese pinch running

Cabrerra: sc(outside corner)-ball(down and out)-foul(cracked bat down right side)-foul(back, ball out of strike zone)-High pop down left side, drops right on the line (no hustle by Astros, Reese bareley makes to 3rd.  Kevin Thompson runs for Cabrerra.

This was their 9th hit.
Cano: missing some pitches, ball(down and in), Milo isn't helping, but I am not catching everything either (work getting in the way)-foul(back to screen)-Flyball to RCF, Luke Scott cutting across and makes a good play to get the out.

Yanks making some changes, but I don't care about them.
Wang is still pitching

Scott: sc(late call, Milo thought it a ball)-ball(high)-shot to SS, Cairo fires high, but the play was made.

Everett: ball(up and in)-cracked back to 3B, good play by A-Rod to get him.

Did Milo say the hit by Scott that plated Lee was a single??? Might have gotten that wrong.
Burke: s?(gotta love Milo, found out after next pitch)-ss-foul-more talking, less PBP-ball(in the dirt)-he got a hit, almost went for 2, but settled for single.

Another Phone call, so be advised.

Loretta: sc-foul-foul(I might have missed some but still 0-2)-throw to 1B-throw to 1B-bouncer to SS, flip to 2B, side retired.

Sampson now in

A-Rod: ball-ball(just missed at knees)-chopper foul outside of 3B-foul-ss, Ked  Yankee fans suck, they are jeering their own player.  I may not like A-Rod, but I will take him on my team.  I certainly wouldn't raze him like they do.

Sardini??: ball(down and out)-ball(down and in)-foul-missed some 2nd strike and 3rd ball-ss, Ked

Milo was talking about Sandberg and Biggio and how Sandberg making the Hall is good news for Biggio who has had a better career in everything except power.

Pratt: ball-ball(low)-foul-foul(down right side)-ball(down and out)-6846 is the crowd today-chopper SS, Everett on to 1st, side retired

1 4 3 Astros
3 6 0 Yanks

Santangelo catching
Bruntlett 2nd
Lamb 1st
Sampson still pitching

Mientkiewicz: sc(right down middle above knees)-ball(down and in, big hook)-sc(late call)-Drayton joins to call-ball(down and in)-ss(tried to check, 1B calls him out) Ked

Drayton took Milos mic, so he is joking they can say anything they want now.  Drayton talking about Yankee fans and how outspoken they are.  They want to borrow Pence.  PBP, seems to be on hold while they talk.  Drayton says it is funny how people make a big deal about someone who has not even played AAA.

Cairo: 2-2, then Ked.  PBP died, but updates occassionally.

Talking about people from Texas visiting the Astros ST this year.  Drayton things Astros had more fans at the Braves game than Braves had.

Phillips: Ked, asking Drayton to stick around.  They joked some more about Drayton and Brett enjoying that Drayton took Milo's mic.

More changes

Villone pitching, all other Yank changes I don't care about.

Drayton talks about how much the Astros have become so popular in Texas, that more and more people are comming to ST.

Ensberg: sc(inside corner)-David Glass wearing Astros cap, Drayton going into a story about how that happend, Drayton now talking about "The Shed, Jr." and all the new merchandise.  ENSBERG hits a HR!!!!

Drayton talks about WHEN the Astros charge this year, Morgan is a key to that.  Says Tim P never considered trading Ensberg this offseason.  Then jokes they have a fairly good LF now.

Scott: ball(almost hit him)-foul(chopped into Yanks dugout)-ball(way upstairs)-ball(just off outside corner, 3-2 now)-Scott hammers one, but foul-Drayton talking about how Scott is really getting his swing together now-Now Dayton is talking about Carlos Lee- Scott Ks

Everett: Drayton says this might be one of the biggest crowds he has seen in ST, Everett clubs one down the line... it stays fair, HomeRUN!!!!!  Drayton his replacing Milo was the key.  Milo needs to continue it forward.

Burke: ball(high)-sc(just catches corner, Burke laid off)-chops it softly up 3B line, 3B can't make play, infield single for Burke

Pence (aka Superman): Yankee fans actually cheering for him, throw to 1B, almost picked off Burke who was leaning, throw was high, snap toss to 1B (Burke in safely)-ball(way outside)-ball(just outside)-Talking about Sampson as possible player of game with 2IP and 5Ks-ball(outside)-skys on to RCF, ball carries...to the wall, but caught by the CF.

1 on, 2 out
Lamb: ss(Burke running, but caught, 2-6, side retired).

But they tie it on 2 HRs!

Villone still in

Lamb, Bruntlett, Santangelo due up
For those wondering about the time, there was a 1 hour rain delay to start game.

Lamb: line drive single to CF.

Villone being pulled, Beane comming in.
Bruntlett: throw to 1B(almost threw it away)-throw to 1B(Milo calls Beane a Moose of a man)-bunt, right in front of plate, catcher throws to 1B, sacrifice complete, 1 out, Lamb on 2nd.

Santangelo: ball(way high)-Milo making really bad Beane jokes and reference to old (I mean REALLY old) songs-sc-sc-sc (they never told me he ked, just talked about his nasty sidearm pitch)

Lane: ball(almost hit him, when I found out Lou Ked)-sc(crossed up catcher, he goes to talk to him)-foul(slow roller)-bouncer foul-foul(back)-ball(around the shins)-ss, Ked

Side retired  Do we have extras ahead of us?

White in.
Palmiero in LF

Basic: high chop to SS, Bruntlett makes a good play to get him.  Not an easy play give how high a chopper it was.

Bruntlett making a case with his glove, maybe?

Sardinia(sp): sc-s-ball(low)-ball(backdoor that missed away)-ss, Ked.  Good sharp break on the last pitch

Woody pitched ok, but Shaky defense let him down, according to Milo, everyone else has been excellent.

: sc-talking about NCAA tourney-ball-smash to 1B, Munson spears it, 1-2-3 inning

Side retired.  12 in a row by the bullpen.

Some lefty pitcher in for Yanks

Palmiero: sc-foul-ball(almost hit him)-laces it down to the Left field corner, double.  Might have been able to make it to 3B, but held up.

Munson: ball(up and in)-ball(wild)-ball(4?) walk

Santangelo: ball(tight)-ball(whoa from Milo, pitching coach comming out)-6 straight balls, none close-sc-foul(back)-ball(backdoor breaker which stayed away)-smash foul(just outside 3B, Milo says it was inches from ending the game)-fly ball way back to CF, against the wall, Palmiero scores!!!  Reese the CF, gave up on the ball when it hit the wall.

ASTROS WIN!
