The Rangers have agreed to sign Manny Ramirez to a minor league deal.  LINK

I figured he probably was, but I didn't know. I'd heard the news that he was headed for the minors but didn't know where. There were waaaay too many things on the Buffalo Wild Wings tv sets to hear that detail.

We've already been to the Pluckers in Grapevine and Plano. Good, but pricey. I will say that their mac & cheese is very good and they make a nice patty melt.

Just tried Quaker Steak & Lube in Carrollton last night after the RoughRiders game. Pretty good.

I have two teenage boys, one of whom is a fan of BWW, and of the three wing restaurants mentioned in this post, BWW's the closest by far. Plus the one by us always hires a manager who is from Houston or has worked at a BWW in Houston, so any time we're there and request that a tv near us gets tuned to a channel with a Houston sports team, we get obliged very quickly.

I think Plucker's is the best wing I have ever had, although some of that may just be that I like their blue cheese a lot. Have yet to find anything here worth a damn yet.

To be fair, his last team was in Taiwan.  Round Rock is definitely a step up (baseball-wise, not so much in culture or cuisine).
