Jesus Christ, Carlos.

That 3-1 pitch was right down the fucking middle. What were you waiting for?

And holy shit, that strike 3 call was fucking miserable.

How does the "new grass" affect a ball that was just plain hit Past Bourn? It had nothing to do with a good hit, so why mention the grass?

Lee singles to LF. Penceslides/falls down due to the new grass aroundhome plate, or something, but makes it 2-3 Cards.

Lee takes 2nd and 3rd on a wild pitch!!!!!

Scores on a sac by CJ?

Altuve hits in to a round the horn double play after failing to get a bunt down twice with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs.

Then Boojwah smacks one off 3rd base for a double in to the Cardinal version of Dumbass Cove. 4-3 Astros.

Fucking Pence just swung at a curve ball that bounced for strike 2.

Then swings at another shitty curve on the ground and rolls it just foul down 3rd.

Finally lays off a ball in the dirt and Boojwah advances to 3rd on the passed ball.

1-2 as the camera crew features Yadi Molina's classy neck tattoo again.

Pence grounds a meatball right to Theriot, who juggles it and still throws slapdick out at first.

4-3 Astros.

And I'm off the Flying Saucer.

So I join in and everyone suddenly leaves?

How is it only the bottom of the seventh?  Who's our DH?

You have to buy the next round. It gets expensive.

5-3 Astros at some point during the game.

That would be a significant improvement.  I promise not to pollute it with diet root beer.

Man, you're not kidding. That's about as bad a drink as I have ever heard of, second only to Maker's Mark and Dr Pepper.

Fortunately, Ron Abuelo is as cheap as water here. You can get a fifth for $6 or so. You can sit around drinking rum and diet root beer all week long for $6.

You can very, very occasionally find it at Spec's.

Man, you're not kidding. That's about as bad a drink as I have ever heard of, second only to Maker's Mark and Dr Pepper.

Worst hangover I ever had - a fifth of El Presidente brandy with Dr. Pepper.

Worst feeling at a party when I started throwing up - Smirnoff vodka and Hawaiian Punch. Didn't know if my stomach was hemorraging or not.

I have learned from these two experiences.
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.

I have never tasted (nor, to my knowledge, ever seen) Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi but even without personal experience with the product I am certain it is worse than Dr Pepper, therefore this now qualifies as the worst drink I have ever heard of. I'm getting a heartburn just thinking about it.

Enjoy it - another time

Another time.  I've still never had brunch at Hugo's despite living two blocks from there as well.

The Astros fight back to .333!!! Woo hoo!

I was half expecting them to defy mathematical possibility and have a winning percentage of exactly π/10.

I haven't been able to watch that many games but did get to see quite of bit of this series.  Lee's homers weren't hit all that far past the fence.  It looked to me as if he hit them as hard as he could.  Is that as far as he has hit a ball this year?

Yep. His recent ones at MMPUS have been in the Boxes, one to the back, but I definitely think his power is down.

When I saw where they landed I was very surprised.  Just a few years ago those would have sailed into the second or third deck.
