This deal could also negatively affect Patton, the reason he signed in 2004 and didnt go to UT was because all he wanted to do was play for the Astros, will he have the same motivation to produce for the O's?. He has been described lazy by many scouts, maybe this will make him want to work harder or even less?

Patton is definitely the part that hurt the most... where does the team build from here now that we have AE, Wiggy, and Tejada and only two spots?
I would like to keep Wiggy at third, and trade AE

I hope we dont trade Burke to Colorado because it seems like that is the best spot for Loretta to end up. If Loretta signs with Colorado, then we get a draft pick and then we can trade Burke to another team.

With Matsui, we at least know what kind of player we are getting, but with Burke we get a ?  
We saw how that worked in 07
