not much power on either list.  That's why it would be crazy to trade Lamb or Scott.  We are a much better team with three left handers in the lineup.  That's the reason I was looking for stats on Bogusuevic.  He was a pretty good left handed batter in college.  I was hoping that he was still working on his hitting.  Do A ball pitchers even take batting practice during the season?

Thanks for the update.  I went to check on Bogusevic's BA on the Salem website, oops, didn't know A ball was all DH.  So our pitchers don't get to bat until they reach AA? and then it's not even every game.  Some games have a DH while others don't.  Is it required that the DH is used whenever we play an American League's AA or AAA team? Even home games.  Call me confused.  Thanks.

Wasn't he blind?
He fell into an irrigation channel and went blind. WTF?

He plays at his club every Monday night in NYC.  I'll be there in August and can't wait.
I hope I can still play the guitar when I'm 92 years old.  Oh wait, I can't play the guitar now.

did anyone watch "Les Paul: Chasing Sound" on PBS last night?  It was very good.  Wikipedia claims the Klingon word for guitar is "leSpol"

Oh man, that just brought back a childhood memory I hadn't thought about in years.  When leaving the movie theater of my youth, there was a drive-in next door, and once in a while....there would be BOOBIES on the big screen outside.  What an amazing thing for a 10-year-old boy to see.  Giant four-story boobies in the night sky.
Ah, the old Rebel Drive-In on Burleson Road.  I may have gone there once, by mistake, in the trunk of my buddy's Ford LTD.  Actually, in those days (mid 70's) it was easier just to go down to the Barton Springs Pool if you had a hankering for some titty.

What was Ausmus "going off on MLB" about?
I can't remember now.  It might have had something to do with the all-star voting.  BTW, if Ausmus dislikes Ortiz so much, why did he write the foreword to his book?

New guy here. FIRE AT WILL.  I've enjoyed my lurking and have learned a lot, thanks.   So, was that Ortiz who asked Brad: "tell us what you really think" or something like that after Brad went off on MLB?  Brad didn't even look at the guy, he just says " I think I already did."  It was very obvious he didn't even want to be talking to that dipshit. Thanks again.
