Pretty good outing tonight by Appel but for some reason I am just now "wowed" when I see him pitch.

i felt the same way but then you notice he's thrown 5 scoreless innings

man, $60 will barely get him a misdemeanor...maybe a criminal trespassing.  Pasadena cops won't bother unless it's worthwhile

i like the Night Shift with Adam Wexler. Matt Jackson and him use to have some good arguments. I rarely get up early enough to listen to the morning show regardless of who is on.  Rich Lord is ok but sometimes he comes off as a big wuss.

I listen to Pallilo when i can. he's the only tolerable one on 790

Scout.com: What big league player would you best compare yourself to in terms of style and why?

Kyle Greenwalt: Roy Oswalt, because we have the same tempo on the mound.

Scout.com: Could you please describe your repertoire of pitches, the velocities of each and which is your best pitch, etc.

Kyle Greenwalt: My fastball is 92-96 MPH, my curveball is 68-72 MPH, my slider is 80-84, my changeup is around 64 MPH, and my knuckleball is about 60 MPH. My fastball is my best pitch because I can spot it where I want and because it has movement in, out and down.

Scout.com: I understand that you went to Yankee Stadium for a tryout over

Ensberg fucking loafing. Took his eyes off the ball and started to trot off the field.

Fucking. Hate. It.

He rounded the base and thought it had been caught. didn't look like loafing to me

Lee is a DH waiting to happen. In a couple of years, having him in any outfield will be an adventure.  The Stros need to focus on pitching and defense, with some clutch hitting.

Lee did hit .331 with RISP last season. That's somewhat clutch, right?

from baseball america

24. Astros: Brian Bogusevic, lhp, Tulane U.

Though more teams prefer him as a three-pitch lefthander, he also has five-tool potential as a right fielder. On the mound, Bogusevic shows an 89-93 mph fastball along with a solid slider and changeup. He has good command, though his velocity and location slipped when he strained a hamstring early in the season. Bogusevic's size, swing and bat speed give him tremendous power potential from the left side of the plate. That power is still more raw and not as evident in games?but it's there. He's also Tulane's fastest player, running the 60-yard-dash in 6.6 seconds during the team's scout day last fall. His arm obviously is an asset on defense as well.

mlb.com has an audio mock draft and they choose Marceaux with our 1st pick as well.  he draws comparisons to Roy Oswalt.
