Unlucky stretch for Lyles: Hamilton barely stay alive by tipping a great curve before blasting that homer, then Beltre goes down on a knee to line another great curve into center, and then Young bloops a single in behind second.

Nothing cheap about Cruz's single to center, though.

I looked at this stretch and figured it could easily be 12 straight losses. If not for that miracle comeback against the Rangers last week, we'd be right on schedule.

Last night was great. I couldn't believe the plays that South Carolina kept coming up with. That back-handed snag by the catcher on the first force at the plate in the 8th (?) was amazing.

Yeah, SC really has won it with the glove.  The extra inning game to get to the final round was incredible, too.

why would anyone think getting paid in $2 bills is cool?

we used to think it was cool when my grandma gave us $2 bills for christmas but that was different.  there were 30 of us grandkids, it was economical and different.
