Title: Footer, McTaggart and Justice on Twitter
Post by: BUWebguy on July 21, 2009, 11:50:28 am
From Footer's blog:
Quote
You should see us in the clubhouse before batting practice, furiously typing on our iPhones as soon as information oozes from Cecil Cooper/Puma/Ed Wade. Often, it's the same information, only different. Like today:

4 p.m. CT:
@brianmctaggart: Pudge has changed his jersey number to 77. He wore No. 7 for most career but it is retired here. He had worn 12 before deciding he misses 7.

4:10 p.m. CT:
@alysonfooter: Pudge changes number from 12 to 77. He wore 7 his whole career but obviously can't have that. So 77 it is.

30 minutes later:
@richardjustice: I've learned exclusively that Pudge has changed his jersey to 77.

No commentary needed.

I've stopped following Justice because of personal preference and nothing else.  I found the same information coming from Footer, only it was better disseminated.  Of course, if Justice is the Vin Scully of Twitter, then I'm an idiot!

Does Richard Justice know the meaning of the word exclusive?

IN THE YEAR 3000....

Footer, McTaggart, and Justice will combine to form one super-Astros-coverage Twitter feed called @JustMcFootTwits.

Is that like the Voltron of Twitter?

Did Voltron have one really shitty part that contributed nothing and kept flying off in different directions?

I was going to chime in here and say, this is that rarest of things, and entirely all nerd/geek thread.  But, by doing that, now I'm in it.

Now you guys know how the Amazonian tribes must feel.

Vehicle or lion?
If it was the vehicle one then the whole setup was shitty. I'd say the green nerd guy from the lion version would be Justice.

It's at times like this when I believe that there being no Justice in this world would be a good thing.

Maybe he thinks it means going "solo," if you know what I mean.

Say what you want, "Dick Justice" would make a fine pornstar name.  He missed his calling.

Maybe he just didn't measure up...

Maybe he just didn't measure up...

His frequent changing positions would be useful.

His frequent changing positions would be useful.

Would that make him a Spinner?
