Salem won 4-3 over Lynchburg. Chris Johnson & Orlando Rosales homered. Chris Balsek came in with runners at 1st & 2nd with no one out in the 9th and preserved the one run lead and got his 5th save of the season.

Pankovits on Rosales:

“Nothing is going to surprise me out of that kid anymore,” Pankovits said. “When you see him play every day you can’t help but be impressed.”

Lexington won 6-2 by doing the little things right.

Quote

“The biggest thing that stuck out to me was Parraz going hard on the double play at second, prolongs the inning. Florentino busting his butt down the line for a two-out RBI single. And Taylor has a two-out, two-run double with two strikes. Those are things that we haven’t done consistently, but we’ve been better at it in the second half. And those are positive things.” — Legends Manager Gregg Langbehn
