Tim Torres picks up where he left on on his 3rd trip to Salem. He went 2 -4 with a run scored and a RBI.

Sean Walker is working his way back from the ankle sprain. He went 4 strong innings last night.

Round Rock lost 11-5 to the Salt Lake Bees.
Brandon Backe made his second rehab start and his first at AAA. JimR gave a first hand report in the Talk Zone. The game was 5-2 Bees going into the ninth with Paul Estrada faced 4 batters and got no one out. He surrendered a walk, two hits and then an error by LF Beau Torbert. The Bees ended up putting a 6 spot up in the 9th to put the game out of reach.
The Express continues to hit homeruns. Conrad hit a solo shot in the first and Quintero had two homeruns. A solo shot in the first and a 3 run blast in the 9th.
Brian Gordon’s strike outs excites the lady in charge of putting the K’s up on the fence more than other pitchers. The K Lady is his mom.
Gordon converted from an outfielder to a pitcher last off season has climbed from AA to AAA this year.
