Welcome to Grapefruit League 2007
« on: March 01, 2007, 01:23:49 pm »
If you want to get into GameZone posting shape, go ahead and use the GZ during the Grapefruit League games to do so.  PBP is usually handled by one person (designated early by said person... in other words, call dibs on it!  Or shotgun... or whatever!).

The others can participate in in-game commentary in other threads, but make sure you don't override the PBP.  Use the title area as much as possible to give the score.  Failure to give the score and details in either the subject line or the body of the text while doing the PBP will get you the tag of "Milo"-ing the GZ.  Not good.

Have fun learning if you're new to this GZ, watch and learn from the veterans and PLAY BALL!

Astros go down 1-2-3 (Burke, Loretta, Lamb) in  top of 1st.

K swinging on first batter

Barfield flies to right.

K swinging last batter.

Woody doing a great job of locating pitches.

Sorry this is not more detailed.  I'm at work you know.  If anyone else wants to take over---go ahead.

Actually, my first thought was "Oh, this sounds so good." (meaning to hear baseball), then I thought, "Oh God, its Milo."

Williams got Hafner on 3 pitches, 2 slow ones and he took a "fastball" right down the middle.  Look for him to go another inning.  Milo is focused.  I only missed 3 of Williams pitches and none of Westbrooks.  No slap and tickle in the booth neither.

Ensberg singles.

Luke "Sky"walks

Lane grounds into 6-4-3 dp.  Ensberg to 3rd.

Everett hits a shot (Milo thought it got through, but NOOOOOOOOO), Barfield throws late, safe at 1st Ensberg scores.

Jimerson hits a comebacker to the mound, out at 1st.
