Quote:The Link2. Astros Brad Ausmus, Eric Munson Pitchers love Ausmus because of his vast knowledge of hitters and his willingness to let pitchers run their own games. Munson's power will help him as he competes with Humberto Quintero and Hector Gimenez. Now I'm not sure i'd agree with the munson part but it's nice to see someone other than budgirl, this site and the team giving brad ausmus the credit he deserves.

Quote:Quote:Pitchers love Ausmus because of his vast knowledge of hitters and his willingness to let pitchers run their own games.I think that can be accomplished just as well from the bench. Seriously, we can't have this guy catching more than 100 games for us this year. The worst everyday offensive player in the modern age of the National League cannot be in the lineup everyday - he just can't. On the plus side, he does have beautiful eyes.

Quote:The addition of Lee and what I think will be a strong year from Scott, plus a healthy Berkman make any offense at C and SS COMPLETLY icing. And I have to disagree about the eyes I think Brad's ass is his strength.

Over the past three seasons, who has the higher OPS (since you're so modern and we're so antiquated):Brad Ausmus or Yadier Molina? Also, while were at it, and just sticking to everyday players, tell me how he is worse than:Neifi PerezJack WilsonRey OrdonezAlex Gonzalez...just for starters.
