Me, too.  I couldn't believe Stark's interpretation that it was all over "$2 million."  He's usually better than that.

Some things are so obvious even the Chron can't screw them up.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

This is a two week period I shall never forget.  I give props to JDJO for his wanting to report a story for the benefit of everyone who reads the online Chron.  (I didn't like his backtracking later, but I digress).  Now I have to give props to John X. Lopez for being dead spot on!

I am coming to the realization that, "yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" and the Chron can look at things with the objective and somewhat cynical eye at times.

Kudos to John X.!
