If the Yankees unload Alex Rodriguez and don't get a third baseman back, expect to hear Scott Rolen's name. The relationship between Rolen and Cardinals manager Tony La Russa isn't good and it's getting worse. -- New York Post

If that's an issue, everyone except Pujols is in play.  This is better than the other line of thought, writer blandly gabbling on about how the Cubs would include ARamirez in any deal for Rodriguez.  It's likely Ramirez is a free agent shortly after the final pitch in the WS.
