Alright, Let the Games Begin
« on: October 02, 2006, 04:28:57 pm »
RULES:

1) Pick the winner of each round, in order.  No cutesy shit.  If you have the Padres winning the NLDS, the Cardinals can't win the NLCS.

2) You get 1 pt for each DS, 2 pts for each CS, and 4 pts for picking the WS Champ.

3) Tie breaker will be "How Many Games Will the WS Go?"  If there is still a tie after that, contestant with the prettiest mouth wins.

4)
GRAND PRIZE
SECOND PLACE
LAST PLACE

Good luck to all of you.  Fans of other teams may not play.

TWINS over A'S
YANKEES over TIGERS
PADRES over CARDINALS
METS over DODGERS

TWINS over YANKEES
PADRES over METS

TWINS over PADRES in 4

Oh yeah, entries must be in by noon Central Tuesday.

I was just looking at all the different combinations in here and with 37 participants, not ONE of you freaks has the steM winning the whole thing?

Also, do you people even bother to check to see if someone else already has your picks?  We have four sets of exact-same-picks.

Yeah! Fuck the New York teams! Fuck the Dodgers too!

I think Oakland beats St. Louis in the WS when they score a walk off unearned run, on, underrated as a fielder, Albert Pujols' "Bucknering" a routine grounder. Joe Morgan will be on ESPN saying that the A's were lucky because "'Moneyball', doesn't work."

I don't think the steM have a chance in hell.  I just can't believe of 37 people (one severely brain damaged moron who will remain nameless even took the Cardinals; although I suspect he has "other ideas"), no one took the steM.

"It's understandable for a guy to love curves, but not it your a pitcher...if you get my drift."
