i hear you .. you go to turn on the tv to watch the game and it is not there... and you have to actually watch what is on tv shudder.. it does leave a vast void

that's exactly my sports calendar.  It's really nice when the horns make it to the sweet 16 b/c if you pay that weekend then there is only one week until baseball season starts.  The final four (happened once) gets you all the way to opening day.  I can't imagine being in the championship game slotted against opening night- that would be AWESOME

Mine's the same, but with Longhorn baseball added.  It's much easier for me to attend their games, and usually good seats are available.
