Tell you what.  Let me pitch in the bigs for half of your salary and I'll passionately care about every single pitch I throw for as long as I am up in the bigs.

Think you're overreacting a little bit, weatherman?
Lighten up, Francis.

Maybe.  After my current job, being a MLB pitcher would be my next favorite dream job so I take a dim view of that type of blas? attitude.  Plus, I'm pretty high strung after the last week of baseball.  Ferret on double expresso, I tells ya.

he's just pricking you around, das. Dobie would have sacrificed a limb to pitch in the big leagues too.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

I know.  I can control and am responsible for my actions/reactions/responses.  I can't and have no desire to control his.  I choose to be respectful regardless of whom is sitting across the table/room/internet from me.

That's a great attitude. I believe one can be somewhat irreverent without being disrepectful, but it's a fine line knowing when it's appropriate or not.

"Please don't make me angry.  You wouldn't like me when I'm angry".

There's a time and place for everything.  Mess with my friends or family, I'll react accordingly.  Try to harm the helpless, vulnerable or destitute, likewise.  I can't think of a single reason why something said on an anonymous bbs would be a reason to get your hackles raised, no matter how pedantic, uneducated or inflammatory the comment.

That said, last year, I had my first revelation that I actually "know" a bunch of you pretty well and that a large group of people that I have never met (save one) has migrated over to the "friend" category.  I guess that's what happens when you spend a lot of time with people, even in a virtual sense.

Yes, you've met me and we hate each other, so does that count?!

Why you hatin', friend...

Good times, eh?  I can barely get any work done.  Your county networks are going to appreciate the rain delay this afternoon, aren't they?
