About this weekend in New York

Game called on account of hurricane?
The Link

Not likely.  The two models (GFS, GFDL) that bring the storm onshore or near the coast are the outliers and trustworthy guidance has the system remaining offshore with the significant weather to the NE of the center position even further out to sea.  The UKMET has been junk lately (sorry Limey).  Also, the system will be far to the NE approaching Nova Scotia as an extra-tropical system by the time the game starts tomorrow.  If the storm had any influence at all at that distance, it would have NYC in the diffluence zone which yeilds clear, dry weather (the calm before and after "the" storm) so any weather issues would be associated with a cold front approaching from the NW.  Afternoon and evening boomers are likely for all three days as the front hangs up just to the south and they will be slow movers with heavy rain.  Effects on the games will be dependent upon which cloud is over the stadium at the time.  Roughly 50% areal coverage at precip peak each afternoon and evening.

Thanks.  So, no hurricane, just maybe heavy rain?

Yup.  Like down in your area in the summertime, if the ground crews are paying attention and get the tarp on before the rains start to fall, the games should be able to resume shortly after individual thunderstorm cells move on.
