It's a home run derby. It's not a competition that really means anything. He didn't do particularly well, but 6th place out of 8 isn't what I'd call "pathetic". Big deal. When's the next Astros' game?

I did. What's your point?

By the way, when did Jason Bay get fat, grow a beak and green feathers. Speaking of green, David Ortiz must have been sick. He looked terrible.

A big, silly wabbit in a conductors uni as a mascot for a team called the Astronauts, whats not to like?

I miss Orbit.

Yeah whoever thought up Junction Jack and Clutch the Bear took an reprehensible amount of creative license (or, conversely, a complete lack there of) in their respective creations...at least remain thematically consistent

I'll never understand the stupid bear.  Granted, a jackrabbit has nothing to do with Astronauts, but they at least tie him to the train theme.  What about the Rockets or their gym has anything to do with bears?  And what happened to "Booster"?
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

No, I think that would be the province of one Penelope Pitstop.  I don't see her fitting into the Astros motif, either.

You know, after I read my own post, I was just waiting until someone responded with "we only *wish* someone would tie him to a train".

Funny. But just for the record, I think you mean Nell, from Dudley Doright. The Link
Not Penelope Pitstop from Wacky Races.  The Link

As long as he didn't mean Nell, from Jodie Foster fame, I'm satisfied.
